Microsoft Windows Server Administration
Install, configure, optimize, and manage a Windows Server. Create and configure file and print servers, application servers (IIS, FTP, WWW), authentication servers, and network support servers (DHCP, DNS, WINS).

Plan and Maintain a Windows Server Network
Learn to plan, deploy and maintain application servers with an emphasis on security and monitoring. Implement and troubleshoot network topologies while analyzing address schemes, routing solutions, and IP Security. Configure Active Directory to utilize certificate publication (PKI), names resolution services (DNS and WINS), and Network Address Translation (NAT).

SQL Server Administration
Install, configure, and optimize an SQL Server. Create, troubleshoot, backup, and restore databases. Work with ODBC data sources and manage OLE DB providers. Configure database options to optimize system performance. Implement authentication modes with servers and/or databases. Manage and monitor security and system activity. Maintain high availability utilizing primary and standby servers, replication, and clustering.

Course Length: 32 hours

Microsoft SQL Server Database Design and Implementation
Design and develop logical data models. Create and alter databases, consider and include file groups, file placement growth strategy, and space requirements. Learn to create, troubleshoot, and optimize databases and programming objects (including stored procedures, transactions, triggers, user-defined functions, and views). Retrieve and modify data using Transact-SQL and XML. Enforce data integrity, create indexes, and implement distributed data in a network environment.
